The region is draped in Alpine forests and close to Kanchenjunga National Park. It is located at a distance of 135 kilometers away from Siliguri and 130 kilometers from Gangtok. This place is surrounded by beautiful places like Rabangla, Yuksom, Dentam etc. This quiet town with an abundance of history and nature is one of the leading tourist spot of the region.

How to reach

By Air – Nearest major Airport is Bagdogra Airport nearly 150 kilometers from Pelling. There is a helicopter service to Bagdogra Airport from Gangtok and Gangtok to Pelling is 140 kilometers.
By RailThere is no railway system in Sikkim. The nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri station in Siliguri which 150 kilometers away. New Jalpaiguri is well linked up with the rest of India.
By Road - Pelling is well connected with road from Siliguri, Kalimpong, Gangtok and the road is maintained by the Border Road Organization. Pelling to Siliguri via Jorethang is the main route.
